Kiran and Maya arrive at Nakoma Country Club for Kiran's first swim meet. Leigh was in awe of the swankiness of the country club, much too fancy for us!!!
Right after warm-ups. Kiran doesn't look very warm does she! Kiran had to wait to get her team suit until she decided that she would definitely swim in the meet. She has on the smallest suit they make and it is at least 2 sizes too big!
Maya getting ready to swim the breast stroke for the medley relay. Her team finished second but unfortunately dq'd, most likey due to an illegal kick or one hand touch. Oh well, hopefully the next meet they'll get a ribbon.
Kiran swimming backstroke. I was amazed that she made it all the way down the pool in every race. She really worked hard.
Maya waiting to enter the water to swim backstroke.
Maya mid swim.
Maya after completing the back stroke. She also swam breast stroke and finished second.
